Communication Skills – What Makes People Tick?

In this workshop you will uncover the history of Communication profiling & examine behavioural models to first identify your own communication style & then learn to identify others. Participants will learn how to utilise the various styles to engage more effectively with people.

Advanced Communication Skills – Behaviour Modification

Why can’t we wear sunglasses at the casino gambling table? Do all non-verbal gestures mean the same in all countries?

In this workshop you will discover the anthropology behind non-verbal signals, clarify the difference between Conscious and Unconscious Non Verbal Communication, examine the different interpretations in different cultures of common gestures & discuss five significant communication signals and how to respond to them. You will learn how to modify your behaviour to suit situations to gain a better outcome.

We will also touch on the basics of NLP (Neuro Linguisic Programming) & how to read and utilise the Six Eye Movement Indicators.

Advanced Communication Skills – Fierce Conversations

Sometimes at work, whether as a leader or as an employee, the need arises to have a “fierce conversation.” A Fierce Conversation is not intended to be an emotionally confrontational conversation-instead it is a confronting conversation for you, because you are confronting a situation with a person you wish you didn’t have to confront, but you know you have to. It could be a management issue like lateness, inappropriate attire or workplace productivity, or it could be sexual or inappropriate remarks being made, cultural or religious issues, body hygiene or aggressive communication. They are tough conversations to have to address, but professionally, morally and sometimes legally, they need to be.
